New Notification of renewal of membership 2023
 
In an effort to assist members and carry out its modest social obligations and responsibilities, the Institute no longer charges membership renewal fees as of 2022. With effect from 4 April 2023, the Institute will notify members of the annual renewal bracelet by sending email to all members for details. Recognition of Achievements in Promoting and Adopting MEDIATION in our Practice in 2019

The Institute of Crisis and Risk Management received "Mediate First" Pledge Star Logo Award Certificate in recognition of our Institute's achievements in promoting and adopting MEDIATION in our practice from the Secretary for Justice in Hong Kong on 24 May 2019, and the Mediation Pledge in 2017.

Our serving member received a certificate of Professional Family Mediators in US in recognition of founding member for his dedication to promoting excellence and professionalism among family mediators and his commitment to educating the public about the value of family mediation in 2012.

Mutual Recognition between ICRM and HKII (Hong Kong Institute of Investors) Designation in September 2005

In September 2005, the Chairman of the Institute of Crisis and Risk Management Limited "ICRM", Mr. Freddie Lee and the Founder and Chairman of Hong Kong Institute of Investors Limited, Mr Ricky Tam signed a Mutual Recognition Agreement between the ICRM and the HKII. The agreement gives members of both bodies reciprocal recognition of professional designations. For further information about CFS (Certified Financial Strategist) designation, please visit HKII website (http://hkii.org)

Offer a 12 months “direct Entry/Admission” period (September 2005 - August 2006) for CFS at HKII and CRP at ICRM, but the final approval will be evaluated by the individual council/board of directors at their discretion.

Thereafter, ICRM and HKII will offer the following bridging programmers together with Examination / Assessment for their designation holders:

CFS of HKII joining ICRM as CRP of ICRM by taking
- Operational risk management
- Strategic crisis management
- Business ethics and profession code of standards.

CRP of ICRM joining HKII as CFS by taking
- Financial planning and investment strategies

 

  1. As such, we encourage full members of CRP of ICRM to grasp this opportunity for a professional qualification in professional management. Please submit your application via ICRM office as soon as possible. The administration and processing fee is at HK$800. The cheque should be made payable to “The Institute of Crisis and Risk Management.”

  4. Attached copies of your CRP membership certificate plus any other certificates or testmonials.
  5. The cost of bridging programme of CRP of ICRM will be at HK$5,900, and the cost of programme of CFS of HKII will be announced later.
  6. Send the above-mentioned document to "The Institute of Crisis and Risk Management" at Unit 2002, 20/F, Tower A, New Tade Plaza, 6 On Ping Street, Shatin, NT.
  7. and certificates, and endorse the members are IN GOOD STANDING with the Institute.
  8. 8. All application forms must be sent to the ICRM as early as practicable and will forward your application form to CFS of HKII for onward process. All late application forms will not be entertained after 31st August 2006.


Memorandum of Partnership between The International Association of Emergency Managers on 10-Nov-2004

The International Association of Emergency Managers (IAEM) is a non-profit educational organization dedicated to promoting the goals of saving lives and protecting property during emergencies and disasters. The objective of MOP is to symbolize our cooperation to enhance the management in emergency, risk, crisis and disaster in the organizations throughout the nation.

Mutual Recognition between ICRM and RFP-HK (Registered Financial Planner) Designation on 19-Dec-2003

On 19 December 2003, the Chairman of the Institute of Crisis and Risk Management Limited "ICRM", Mr. Freddie Lee and the President of the Society of Registered Financial Planners Ltd "RFP-HK", Dr. Sidney Sze signed a Mutual Recognition Agreement between the ICRM and the RFP-HK. The agreement gives members of both bodies reciprocal membership rights of the other Organization at the same status. RFP-HK and ICRM Reciprocal arrangement:

 

 

  1. Offer a 2-month period (1 January 2004 to 28 February 2004) for the FULL members of both Society/Institute to apply for Direct Entry/Admission as full member of RFP-HK and CRP, but the final approval membership will be evaluated by the individual council/board of director at their discretion.
  2. Thereafter in order to qualify as full member of the other institute, members of RFP-HK and ICRM will have to take the followings:-

Full Member of RFP-HK joining ICRM as a CRP Member by taking
- Six Sigma 6Q Approach to Crisis and Risk Management Planning
- Crisis Management
- Professional Code of Standards and Business Ethics

Full Member of CRP joining RFP-HK as Full Member by taking
- Investment Planning
- Tax Planning
- Best Practice for Financial Planners

As such, we encourage CRP full members to grasp this opportunity for a professional qualification in financial management. Please submit your application via ICRM office as soon as possible.

  1. Download the RFP-HK's application form (Word Format) or (PDF Format).
  2. Fill in the application form accurately.
  3. Attached copies of your CRP membership certificate plus any other certificates or testmonials.
  4. Prepare a cheque for HK$700 being $200 for administration fee and $500 for annual subscription fee. The cheque should be made payable to "The Society of Registered Financial Planner Ltd".
  5. Send the above-mentioned document to "The Institute of Crisis and Risk Management" at Unit 2002, 20/F, Tower A, New Tade Plaza, 6 On Ping Street, Shatin, NT.
  6. Before sending it to RHK on 24th February 2004, ICRM office will collect and certify all applicants' application form and certificates, and endorse the members are IN GOOD STANDING with the Institute.
  7. All application forms must be sent to the ICRM as early as practicable but not later than 28th February 2004 and will forward your application form to RFP-HK for onward process. All late application forms will not be entertained after 28th February 2004
